Benchmarks Continued:
AMD Overdrive:
Here we get a look at the settings of the 635. | Running the system performance we get a very resonable score of 5997. |
Using the AMD Overdrive tool, we are able to tweak a few things in order to get as much as 600MHz+ from the 635 Processor. This ability to push the processor to the positive 600MHz is quite the value for the price.
SuperPI:
Super PI ran at stock speeds. | Super PI ran while the processor is over-clocked. |
The 635 definately shows off its ability while over-clocked as appose to stock speeds. Remember, while the benchmarks were taken on the 635, the processor was being cooled by a stock heatsink.

Side-by-side comparison between the 2010’s AMD Athlon II X4 635 and the 2009’s AMD Athlon II X4 630. There is very small differences between the two benchmarks. Though both of these reviews were done with the processors at stock clock speeds, we can increase the clock speeds on the 625 which left the 630 processor behind, again making the $20 difference between the 630 and the 635 processors appear to the worth every last penny.
