Obviously this is not a complete listing of all motherboards available as we tested this board on the Crosshair II Formula board with no issues, not even a bios flash was needed.
The AMD Phenom II 965 is really an excellent value for consumers given that there are motherboards designed to work with it utilizing both DDR2 and DDR3 so that you can choose your level of expense and performance to meet your needs and budget. AMD has let us know that you should be on the look out for combo deals that combine the 965 with one of the above motherboards and possibly ram and a GPU (most likely ATI) for a significant discount.
