Auvio Bluetooth Portable Speaker Review

Conclusion:

The Bluetooth speaker market isn’t completely saturated with competition, but there are several options to choose from and given the trend…I would expect it to continue to grow. Doing some comparative research on my own, for the retail price of $79.99, the Auvio Bluetooth speaker is a clear winner in the performance vs. cost department. If you add in that this speaker seems to be on sale quite regularly at Radio shack for 40% to 50% off, it makes this a slam dunk no-brainer. So, if you’re looking to add a bit more “bump in your trunk” to your smartphone or mobile device, you really should consider picking up one of this Auvio Bluetooth portable speakers.

The only negative I could come up with during the review was a personal opinion on the aesthetics. The gloss piano finish sure is “pretty”, and is very common with devices these days; however it’s very prone to scratches. For a portable device that will have a high chance of getting “thrown” into a bag or a backpack, I don’t see it taking very long for the nice piano finish to become marred with scuffs and scratches.
