Have you ever had a really cool idea for a product, but were discouraged by being unable to create it? MakerBot helps bring rapid prototyping to the masses with their new Replicator 3D printer. Employing dual extrusion heads, the Replicator is able to print materials in two colors at once. Basically if you can design it in a 3D modelling program, you can create a real object of it.
The Replicator is also significantly cheaper than what commercial 3D printers go for. This makes is possible for average person to be an inventor in their spare time. More info about the Replicator can be found at their site.

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
