Hey all I just got given an old computer....I love it already.
(Im a sucker for old gear)
Its a Compaq Prolinea 575e.
Its running some weird OS....from what I can read on the start up screen it has (c) microsoft all over the place...but looks like it runs on some UNIX variation ???.

Its called Medimate and it looks like it loads @ boot.
Neway I get to the login screen (the user forgot their password that why I got it for free) and it asks for a password which I dont have.

the Doc wants me to get rid of med records on it anyway so I figure ill just format and install windows 95 on it...
It has a 60Mhz CPU 8Mb ram and not sure how much HDD space. (NOTE: it has no CD drive)

Has anyone got Win 95 on Floppy disk???

The Pre-A Beta release of Windows 95 had utility
to make floppy installation disks

You could use a Laplink cableor serial null modem cable
to transfer files to Harddrive and then install
if there is enough space on HDD.
