Default My First War-driving experience.

Well... I was doing the riding, but it was a war nonetheless... We went from my house about 30 miles east of Seattle and in the woods with no wireless in sight, and headed to Seattle, went around seattle for a while, and came back. All in all, netstumbler found over 400 AP's (the program crashed in the 2nd pic, and there was like 10 after that..) and at one point in Seattle, there were 34 AP's in range. I noticed that the closer we got to Seattle, the higher % of the AP's were encrypted... I successfully got on the net at two points, once parked near a port and once parked near an intersection. Both times the connections were poor and dropped out pretty quickly, but I got my e-mail checked nonetheless. It was pretty exciting, but a little scary at the same time... I'm sure I looked a little odd sitting in the middle of a parked van with a laptop with the doors open..

i think the best way to prevent ppl breaking encryptions is not let any weak signals get out
so that means
sheilding the building and not let RF escape
that means cellphones wont work... hmm...

im having a brainstorm right now
