Default PSU fried?

well lastnight their was a storm...yea not a good thing so while i was sleeping i guess my computer shut off some how. i thought it was just a power suge adn everything would be fine. so i went to try to turn on my comp and then it turned on and about 5 min of it running it shut off and wont start back up all that happens is my case lights/fan lights flash and then nothing? did my psu fry or somehting ne suggestions. why wont it boot?

are you on a surge protector? (doesn't matter if you got hit by lightening..) does anything smell burnt? Try a diff psu.. and if you're lucky, that's all that died...
