I am trying to install the MSDN library on numerous work stations in my lab. SPAMI want to put the files on the network in 1 folder. SPAMIs there a way to install the library on the network so all users can see it from there workstations? SPAMor do i have to install it individually on each workstation and just continuously put the files in the same folder? SPAMsomebody please help!!!!!!!

If this message is still actual. You have to install MSDN on each workstation, if you have suitable licence.

Simply share server's CDROM or extract MSDN to network share (is that legal ?)

If you have W2K Workstations, it's totally simple, just create/modify software policy and advertise/publish MSDN software on each WS. You may also want to inform users to perform installation, or make it 100% unattended.

For NT4.0 WS you'll have to temporary modify startup script, so the installation would begin when users log in.
I'm not sure if fresh upgrade packs allows previously described method.

Since most of your WS suppose to share the same specific startup scripts, you'll save bunch of time this way.

If you don't want to mess with scripts, simply tell everybody to install it from network share/shared drive or paste shortcut on users desktops.
