Default Modem to Modem to Cell Phone

So far I haven't found anybody that has attempted this yet.

I need to connect a PC with an analog modem to a laptop with an analog modem, the laptop is then connected via usb to a cell phone for dialup access.

I have the laptop-cell working fine (I can dial out and get ppp).

What I don't know how to do is how to passthrough (echo?) what's received on the laptop by the internal analog modem from the PC through to the cell-dialup connection.

Essentially the laptop is a bridge between the cell-dialup and the PC modem.

Any ideas?

wow this is totally unchartered territory for me!

what OS is the laptop and pc running for one?

easiest way i *think* would be like any other network..... instead of using the analog modem from the pc to the laptop, connect them with a crossover cable thru the NIC then set those up as a mini-network, and share the connection on the laptop.....

i could be way off or i may have confused the issue.....

so a little clarification and knowing the operating systems that both computers are running would be helpful....

Default Clarification...

The laptop's running OS X and the PC is W2k. I can't use the NIC's to connect them 'cause my PC doesn't have a NIC (only analog modem).

Here's where it is now. I can surf on the OS X machine using the cell connection.

But from there I'm stuck.

Set up RAS (Remote Access Service) on the Mac. I'm not familiar enough with Mac's to be able to help out there, however. Once you do that, you can dial into the Mac via the modem connection.
