i wanna hook my console systems [xbox, 64, genisis, etc.] up to my monitor. obviously i can do this with my video card, but is there a cable i can use to do it without using my video card? or could i make one? im looking for s-video or composite to VGA. id prefer to make one. anyone know where i can find out how to do this?

theres a device out there, i believe viewsonic makes one.. it will take almost any input including catv and component HD and output to a VGA monitor
comes with remote too...
