Any one have any idea about how much current a pair of 12" green cold cathode tubes draws. I'm trying to run a set off some batteries but the 12v stick batteries I got are only 1300 mA/h and they only last about 15 minutes. Any help at all would be appreciated.

well if it runs at all then there is enough power.. just that the batteries suck or something.. if the batteries couldn't power it they wouldn't light up much if at all

Yeah, the problem is wether or not I'm overdraining my batteries by pulling a higher amp/hour than they're capable of. If I knew what the current requirements for the lights were I could get a battery suitable to that without going overkill and spending 80-100 bucks.

bigfoot computers says.. Power: +/- 350mA at 12VDC +/- 4.3w for one.
