Buried within the Kazaa's user agreement, you agreed to have the Brilliant software installed and allow them to access your pc. Unlike the other adware/spyware Kazaa came with you don't have the option to not install this one. OmniWarp.com decided to make a safe way to remove Brilliant and at the same time keep Kazaa up and running. For more information please visit http://www.omniwarp.com. For a direct link to the Brilliant Removal software click here.

No Spyware my @$$. AdAware caught it bigger than crap and twice as smelly. Componet known as CyDoor. Kazaa Lite will not load without. ANd it sure as hell ain't stayin' on my computer. Now where are those dummy files?????
GR,
You don't have to worry about Kazaa lite's Cydoor dll, it is harmless. Ignore it when ADW finds it or Kazaa lite will not work properly. If you read Kazaa Lite's installation instructions it will explain all that to you. Kazaa lite is a fine program.
the version in loite isn't the same as the one w/ spyware

Just kinda freaked me out. On their page they even said to run ad-aware before, so you don't have any spy-ware. Soon as I installed i ran it and it found spyware. I ended up downloading a dummy file anyway (hadn't checked back here yet). Thanks for the tip.

Kazaa is great, but I have downloaded a virus or two.

yeah. the clients who are running it get infected without knowing it. If you ever download a Self EXtracting archive from kaz, try to right click and open it manually with your decompressor (winrar/zip) so you don't risk infection
