A 40" flat panel display for $400? Motorola thinks so, read it here. (http://www.techsmec.com/index.php/2005/05/10/motorola_revolutionises_the_flat_panel_d)

Those look damn promising; viewable in daylight without a backlit display, response times faster than the fastest LCDs, and 75% of the same production process as plasma displays. It's just a surprise this came from Motorola.

is this PC display or TV? cause if they make a 19" SVGA version, it will be much cheaper, or at least should be

It's being designed for both, but more so for TVs.
