Default would you believe in this day and age im still on 56k

Argh I live in the middle of nowhere in England in the yorkshire dales to be precise and recently after soooo long waiting finally we got broadband enabled at our telephone exchange, so I order broadband but then find out we live too far from the exchange!!! I would get satalite bb but im moving out in about a year and a half to year and its £200 setup.
Hope this cheers up your day knowing that there are still some of us living in the dark ages, but at least the views nice and the house is 17th century but its bloody freezing!

Can we see a picture of your cool 17th century house?

And even though it is 200 setup, shouldn't it be less for transferring later?

I mean here you can pay 150 bucks for setup costs sometimes (most the time its free lately), but you don't have to pay to get it switched over to a different house, it's like a 20 dollar transfer fee.

Unless you mean you are not going to transfer in a year or two and go with broadband?
