"Western Digital has announced its new 500GB, 7200RPM Serial-ATA hard drive with Native Command Queuing. The drive features four 125GB platters and comes equipped with 16MB of cache. The Caviar SE16 500 GB (WD5000KS) is now available from Western Digital's online store for $349."

Hmm, it's nice to get bigger, faster etc, but remember:

when crashing, you loose more than when you used 2 smaller drives!.
