Default Driving LCD Displays

Does anyone know how to drive a ' SED1278 ' based 16X1 LCD without using code and programming software, or lots of money.....

Currently to my computer via LPT (printer port), and the circuit seems corrrect. Ive tried countless programs and all of them dont support my LCD :/

Any help

Thanks
