Hello. I'm a total newbie but am looking to embrace my treo 600. I bought a clean treo 600 from a reputable cell dealer in Texas, which is a Verizon CDMA and I use Telus in Canada who is also CDMA. I know that it is more to difficult to reprovision CDMA phones but not impossible. I do have a friend who is a software guru to help, I just need to be pointed in the right direction.
Thanks

The link Posted is awesome. One question, call me a skeptic. Will this really work for any treo 600 or just the gsm version as mine is cdma going to a cdma network.

The modification is just a software update removing restrictions for the networks (and what the required passcodes are) that can be accessed. You CANNOT use the same firmware update that GSM phones use. Instead, you'll have to find a CDMA firmware update that is not carrier-specific. Upon looking on Palm's website and MyTreo.net, all available firmware updates are carrier-specific. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO UNLOCK YOUR PHONE! Sorry!
