Default Bill Gates Leaving Microsoft
Billy Gates has said he is going to be stepping down as the Chairman of Microsoft in July 2008. He wants to spend more time pursuing his charity works with his wife.

Here is a letter he sent to microsoft employees:

it's not like he's "leaving".. it's his company, he just will not be actively participating anymore.

I don't think it'll make much difference; the only way I see it being an amazing thing is if the new guy is more charismatic.
