Molding Question

My friend just cut out a nuclear symbol in his case and he bought regular automotive window molding ( the black hard to bend stuff) and he cant get it to fit on the case because its too hard around the bends and we cant get one big piece we have to do it in sections and it looks really bad, where can he find the molding that is soft and easy to bend around corners, he's looked at all the auto stores plus wall mart and home depot, does it have another name besides "window molding" please help his case needs to be finish for a lan party were having real soon thanks in advance
