Mine is to quit stalling and build the Nexus dagumit! >:( Here's my plans it's still kind of a rough outline:
Black Aluminum full tower (including a All Seeing Eye cut out on one side and A neon behind it to light it up.)
P4 478
Mobo TBA
Geforce 3 Ti200
40GB Maxtor 7200rpm
CD-RW
CD-ROM
And other stuff.... but the thing is 12 year olds can't get no money! I'm moneyless, send me shite!

youīre 12? shit, i wished modding would have been that common when i was 12. but nowadays itīs a bit too common imho. modding gets a bit shitty as soon as standards arise: such as the classic fanbus. my next box will have to get somethinī different to control airflow. you know what i mean. about a year ago i searched the net for fahnbus shematics and didnīt find any, so i had to construct my own one. today, the approximate modder searches the net for a site to order one. that sux. make ya own shit, stay unique, and take a cold cathode instead of a neon, itīs much more powerful :D

a fanbus is made 4 controlling u're fans right? i want one but it's gonna ruin the look of my case (check out the "my modd" thread) there has to be another way no?

and i agree about the cold cathode but u can get a liquid neon and it gives the affect of moving water in u're case or atleast i think it does

one technical fact at first: a fanbus is a black box used for supplying multible fans with current http://www.fanbus.com/gallery/fanbus4sc.jpg
(my fault, i used the wrong name) and a baybus is that faceplatethingie i was talking about http://www.fanbus.com/gallery/3switchblue.jpg
if ya donīt wanna spend a bay you could get a small box, put some switches and leds in and use it as wire remote fanbus on your table. wether or not, i would really recommend using a swichable bus for ya fans cause if you put some in, ya box gonna get noisy, i can hear mine through 2 closed doors with the delta @9000rpm ;D

Well I just installed that 120mm Fan in my system. It looks pretty cool and the airflow is insane. I also have 4 80mm fans and a cyclone. As well as two black lights. I think I need another PSU and a fan grill. Lazer cut is the plan. Maybe a port send the air from the fan to the center of the case as well. I wish I had a digital camera so I could show you guys this thing. It looks so dope its not even funny. Oh yeah it also has a hard drive cooler.

for my next case iīll put in a sole 12 volts supply as second psu because iīve heard that PSUs run without a mobo create wrong voltages because there isnīt anything pulling on the 3.3 volts. i checked the 12v line of my second PSU and it gives 10.8 volts which shuoldnīt really be that way. i think iīll get a small (compared to a psu) trafo and a voltage regulator so that i have some 7 to 9 amps on a 12volt line for my fans (thin iīll myke a rehobus) and my lightshow (think iīll need up to 2 of the 9 visible 5 1/4" bays for the lightbus) but itīll look kickass anyway, take a peek on this beauty, inearly started crying when i saw it the first time. HEīS GONNA BE NAMED "THA STEEL TORMENTOR" (a song from helloween (the metal band))

sorry 'bout moddin u'r quote but the pics were too much
erg 3rd time i've changed this message
i want fanbus but it's gonna ruin the look of my case as u can see it's a real sleak ass case and with a bunch of ugly ass toggle switches on the front it's gonna look wrong so i was wondering if maybe u could but the fan bus inside and have it hooked up to a wireless remote or something???? would that work? how would it work? neone know???

Nothing looks better on a case than a baybus hooked up to some serios fan power. I don't care what case you have. Hook up the baybus and just MOD it to look good.

TRUST ME. jUST BE CREATIVE. Put it on top of the case. Pu tit whereever you want. It doesn't have to go on a bay. To tell you the truth I could use a better pic of the case. I can't even tell where stuff is

i'd post a better pic but that's the only i got right now and it's from the site

i think i know what i'm gonna do i'm gonna see if i can find a push button lighted switch (like a door bell switch but stays on when u press it) so it will be white to match the case when the fan or comp is off and then brite blue when it's on
then it would be pro!!!! dam pro!!
