no video output/power switches not working

i am building this real budget computer for my dad and i am having trouble with the mobo. right when i turn the power supply on the cpu fan starts to spin and it seems like the computer booted up, but the problem is that there is no video output. the mobo is a mach speed k8m8ms... also the conectors the the power switch on the front are not working i have tried every pin and still nothing. all suggestions are needed thanks.

well...i finally figured out what the problem was. it wasnt the mobo but the cpu...so all is well and running. thanks for no responses...assholes :shake:
