Ever lose your cellphone?
I am one of many who have "misplaced" their cellphone only to find out that someone else had adopted it a few minutes later. Losing the cellphone was not the main problem; all of the contact information lost is what really becomes the problem, as some SIM cards can hold hundreds of contacts.
