In a report by CNET (http://news.cnet.com/news/0-1005-200-8335745.html), a spyware application included with Limewire and Grokster called "Clicktilluwin" carries a program called "W32.DIDer" and has been classified by Symantec as a Trojan horse. This has sent makers of both P2P applications running to provide both a fix and an explanation for their respective users. Newsbytes (http://www.newsbytes.com/news/02/173350.html) also takes a look at the issue, with one member of the Grokster team stating: "We are normally given an installer from the advertiser which we run during the installation of Grokster. We have no access to the source code of these third-party installers and so we rely on what our advertisers say these programs do."
