Today we test the new generation of platforms from Intel and AMD. The first is represented by the 3.2 GHz quad-core Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 processor with a new 45-nm Yorkfield core and the Intel X48 chipset. The second is represented by the engineering sample of the newest 2.4 GHz AMD Phenom X4 quad-core processor.
