OCZ launched a heatpipe based cooler called the Vendetta. You'll notice from the cooling block design that the pipes physically run over the CPU heatspreader, there's no copper block to find, and that actually works. So due to the innovative heatpipe design, the cooler has direct contact with the CPU. Combine that with a price under USD 30 and some good performance results and you are good to go.

So what we'll do today is grab a Core 2 Quad Q6600 processor (2400 MHz) overclock it to 3600 MHz and observe how well this 30 USD cooler performs. That should be interesting ...
