Need some help/video problem

System Specs:

Win98se
Celeron 1 gig/new mb
256 pc100
Viper 550, apg, 16 meg video card

all drivers current for directx, video card, and mb

Situation:

When i try to run any application that uses direct3d and or agp texturing i get a "twitching", have tried backing off on the det drivers and that did nothing, removed all devices cept the video card to see if one of them was causing a problem, that did not help, i'm out of ideas of things to try,.,.

Just wondering if anyone has seen this before and what they did,

i'm thinking new video card, but trying to put that off as long as possible.

Did you slow the refresh rate down?

Speakers next to the monitor?

Power cords etc drapped across the monitors cable?

Bout all I can think of otherwise sounds like a time for a new card.

SPAMIs the case too close to the monitor?

Refresh Rate, yep slowed it down, even changed the directDraw override in dx,

did not think about the speakers, but will try them, the case is under the desk, a foot or two away, power cables away from everything, hmmm,.,.good ideas though thanks again,.,

Also could be close to microwave, sumfin...
