Modem advice

Hey guys
Whats a good HARDWARE pci modem?
Not it MUST be HARDWARE not a crappy Winmodem.
Im trying to claim back some desk real estate without sacrificing performance (I hate high pings SPAM8) ).

By far the best hardware modem is the US Robitics Sportster modem. SPAMOr just a regulart US Robotics Data/Fax modem. SPAMI work for and ISP and that is all we recommend. SPAMThat is all I buy too. SPAMThey might be a little more expensive that other modems but you will get that back with performance, speed, and stability.

As they say what you pay for is what you get, and its pretty hard to find decent interal modems.

US Robotics is great but I prefer the 3com Hardware Controller Modem. Never had a problem with it. It's up there a little higher end than the US Robotics. Well worth the extra pennies.

Of course if you take a step better yet, go for an external.
