REALLY! SPAMWOW! SPAMand I like cheese. SPAMI would hope that you realize that that post offers no help at all! SPAMI asked what "GEFORCE 3" has the best 2D, not if ATI had better!
I will now sign off, and I hope that the hooked on phonics works for you : )

I was just giving you advice on 2D cards, I thought that's what you want, jeez
Theirs not that much difference between 200 and 500. But an improvement is an improvement so I'd have to say 500
/me smacks mang really hard in the back of the head
To answer your original question:
All of them.
Most GF3's (200 or 500) are build so close to the Nvidia reference boards spec that thereis barly anything between them.
So insted of touting that they have better performance than the other cards, manufactures are just value adding (adding games/mouses/3d glasses etc) to there GF34 packages.
SUMMARY> Basically dont g looking for better quality GF3's....go looking for the best price/or software bundles.
If you arnt particularly interested in having a 3 year old game free with you card, or haveing it mounted on a blue PCB you SPAMcan save about $100.
Shop around.
BTW if you are SERIOSULY interested in 2D performance then there are plenty of PRO cards out there for around $5000-$10000 with 512Mb DDR and al the goodies. SPAMIf your doing hardcore 2D work then get a loan and get one. SPAMIf however you just want Word to look its best then go the GF3.
NOTE: SPAMNo Im not being a smart ass, you just didnt specify what you were using the card for.

I would think thier wouldnt be much difference in 2d visual quailty between GF2's and GF3's. As long as it's set up to 32-bit color at least.
That is also true...hwoever I have read tat GF3s are a lik better..not much though.
Im assuming that he wants abit more 3D omph as well though..

well, i am upgrading.
Sorry Uranium, didn't mean to explode like that, but I have posted this in a bunch of forums trying to get a good responce, and I only seem to get posts from people who are just trying to rack up some.
I am thinking about going for a Radeon 8500. SPAMI read a review on Hardwarepub that read as
the best card is the Radeon 8500, the next is the GeForce 3 TI500, then the GeForce 3 TI200, then the GeForce 3. SPAMI used a regular radeon not to long ago and I liked it, but it want very fast.
