Hi everyone

i have about $100 - $150 Cdn and am looking at buying the ati 7200 vid card. Im wondering if you would recommend this card an if not what would you recommend. SPAMI do quite a bit of gaming especially sports games. My system is a AMD 1.4 GHZ Athlon with 256 MB or Ram and a Voodoo 3 3000 AGP.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Sam

I just took a look at it and laughed it it's face. If that sucker isn't powerful enough to require a fan, I wouldent get it. I suggest Saving up and getting a leadtek geforce3. I saw one @ frys electroncs for $219. Or you could get a GF2 MX 400 /w 64M. I'm not sure how much more powerful it is though.

I agree that the 7200 probably isnt worth the money.

However unless you really want dazzling graphics (and are willing to pay a dazzling price) I would stay away from the GF3s..

I would also stay away from the GF2 MX line of products as these days for not much more you can snag your self a GF2 ultra.

Check around and try and find the best price and be sure to let us know what you decide on.
