Guys i really need the help now. SPAMI really like ATI cards better becuase of the things it can do with the graphics, but the prices on the new geforce cards are just amazing. SPAMAnyway i was planning on getting the all-in-wonder 8500 becuase i have a home theater and it would be great to play my computer games on the HDTV at 1024 by 786 and use the massive speakers. SPAMDown side to that is the $500 doller price tag on that video card. SPAMI was also looking at just the normal 8500 which looks to be a great card but compairing it to geforce prices its a little to high. SPAMDoes anyone know when ati will drop all there current cards for the release of the 128 meg cards? SPAMAlso can anyone with the 8500 A-I-W or normal 8500 give me feedback on the performance. SPAMAlso i would love to hear from a person useing the all in wonder on there tv.

thanks.

Can't comment on anything except the TV question. I have used the ATI -AIW boards for TV every since they first put the TV output on them and like them very much as I have used other vendors also. I am presently using one and have never had any problems with the TV options. But be sure to follow the setup instructions very carefully.

I also don't remember any probs with older AiWs. Exept for players and drivers for WinME; but ATi was market leader for a long time
About the prices, as usually, all new hardware is very expensive, then its price rapidly drops. Wait couple of month and you'll get it half price ;)

GeForce4 MX460 is great cuz it actually makes your dvd movies look better, it has dual outs and can be used in any combo with monitor, lcd, tv, hdtv, etc. It has great res, is about $150, and is pretty good gaming wise. my suggestion

i'm thinkin about buying a new graphics card soon too, gotta get rid of my old geforce pro. SPAMMy brother has the ati all-in-wonder 8500 and i have to admit its really nice. SPAMAlthough i was thinking about getting a geforce 3 because the new geforce 4's should be comming out this month, (if they havnt come out already), which should lower the price for teh geforce 3 by a good amount.

The GeForce4MX's are cheaper than the Geforce3 TI's and comprable in performance with thousands more features. The GF3 (regular) are more in price than the GF3TI200. That is why I have gone fanatical over them

Not exactly true Uranium.

On frame rates the GF3Ti500 is not barely about 2% faster (not quite2%) but it doesn't have performance in all categories like the MX460 (GF4). the other GF3's, just cant keep up with the MX460 (not the 440 or 420, they are slow). But then again for such a little gain in only frame rates, why pay 200 more?. Yeah dont get a GF4 MX420 or MX440, get the MX460 though.
