Yep, that's what VIA tech says about new C3 CPU.
Seems like C3 has many serious advantages that can make it #1 choice for PC. Thoughts, comments, personal experience ...

yeah, it has been out for a while, but haven't they also produced them for a while? cuz i entered a contest on their site a year ago to win a VIA mobo with 700mhz C3, which was decently fast at the time.

benefits (at least what i can remember) are that is uses .13 micron cores, which only now is Intel following, you believe that; Intel following?, in their design. this results in much less power usage, lower heat emissions and more efficient processing speeds, less errors in calculations and commands.

very cheap too.

just wanted to know if anybody installed it, because technical parameters is great thing but personal experience is sth different.
