Hopefully that will be enough sys. info to solve this problem, the problem being:
Whenever any brand USB webcam initializes within a few minutes (random amounts) all USB devices stop working, until I reboot the system.
I have been building my own systems for over 10 years so I am not a newbie at this stuff. But as I said at the beginning, even the techs at Intel and Creative ( reason for Creative support forthcoming) haven't been able to figure this out.
I have narrowed it down to a conflict between the cam, the Creative Soundblaster Audigy X-Gamer card, and the O.S.. The reasoning behind this is that the last time I reloaded my system I loaded my hardware drivers 1 at a time, rebooting after each install, to find out which 1 was conflicting w/ the webcam. The cam worked fine 'till the last install which was the soundcard,(tried just drivers w/out software also). Once it went in the problem arose. The O.S. plays a part in this also because I didn't have this problem w/ Win98se, but the same problem happened w/ Win2k (ie; base O.S. for XP).
Well this has been a hell of a long request, but I feel it's necessary seeing that I haven't been able to get this solved by any so-called "Professional-Techs".
If you would prefer you can e-mail any help to me @:

Thank You in Advance.
P.S. All devices (including motherboard and O.S.) have the most current updates applied to them.
