How would I allow only certain programs to be run?

Hi,

I recently bought a new computer, XP Pro, and I enabled the guest account on it. I have my account which is an admin, and the guest account. I was wondering if there was any way to allow only certain programs to be run on the guest account. For example, the guest can't run any apps other than Internet Explorer, Media Player, or paint. Is there any way to do this other than uninstalling the other programs from this account?

I know it can be done because I've used systems set up that way, but I don't know how it was accomplished.
