In spite of the fact that it emits rather than absorbs heat, the general look and function of the thing seems to call for it to be called "The Black Hole" or if you prefer the current no spaces midword capital craze "BlackHole."

Hmmm, maybe "Seismos". It's one of a few Greek words meaning shock since the word for storm just didn't fit. Besides, it is a little shocking to see at first.

ZeroK

Zero-K (aka Zero Kelvin or Absolute Zero)

Cryosphere (a term referring to the area of the earth that is permanently frozen)

Permafrost

Moulin (vertical tube that carries meltwater vertically through a body of ice)

Bok (after Bok Globules which are though to be some of the coldest objects in the universe)

Easy...it's the Tourbillion. (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/tourbillion)
Other wise know as a whirlwind.

It was also a noted improvement (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tourbillon) in the mechanics of a timepiece in the 1700s by countering the negative affects of gravity.
In other words, it allowed for better "clocking".

Glacialtech is most known to the enthusiast community for its line of Igloo CPU heatsinks, so why not play along with the metaphor? The new cooler looks like it could be called Aurora or Borealis.

With all those fins, I would suggest something that infers infinite cooling fins, perhaps:

The Infinion Chiller

or

The Infinite Zero Chiller

I would name this cooler :

DoubleWind or

DualWind or

Sorry they chose a name already which Im not allowed to release. It wasnt one of ours. But Im considering putting up a poll and giving an award away anyway. Any thoughts on this?

Well I think most folks will probably pick the name they came up with , but maybe have the names listed and let all the staff pick from the list , and give that person a prize.

Make the staffers do it in a public poll
