hey everyone,
I already have a setup of a multi-monitor computer adn i'm enjoying it a lot. SPAMAt my work however, they have a projector that they are using with a smartboard. SPAMThis leaves no signal for the monitor to go to. SPAMThey have many old video cards there that coudl be taken out and put into this system. SPAMI was wondering if anyone knows how (if possible) to use more than one video card as a home-made video splitter by having both of them display the same screen.
thx,
Aoshi

there are possibilities, i don't know exactly if ya gotta use the same card twice, but i once had a software utility that let ya decide between two cards in a system, i gonna have a look

you can get splitters that will send the same screen, without being degraded, to multiple screens and screen types. i will find out more info

I don't think it's possible to have the same signal on more then 1 video card... SPAMYou have to consider the speed of the other, being only PCI. SPAMEven if you have 2 PCI cards, I don't think windows lets you use the same screen. SPAMWell, I'm going from my setup I created, where I was unable to do more then extend my desktop...
