What OS?
It seems you don't have the drivers loaded. Install the drivers from the CD.

Intreasting. Hmm. You can try an INF install instead of the executable.
Get to your Display Settings (one with background, screensaver..etc..etc). Then go to Settings -> Advanced -> Adapter -> Change -> Next -> Search for... -> SPAMSpecify Location - > browse.
Go to the CD and Thier should be a directory called win98 (you may have to search for it). It should contain the driver for your video card. And this *should* work.
*sigh* Another reason why I always prefer Nvidia, because they let windows install the drivers, instead of thier own program, which can cause problems

Didn't have to burn it. just run it off the HD :P
but yeah I guess it's better if you burn it. so you'll always have it just in case
bilo,
You may wish to go to the ATI home site, download the latest driver for your specific video card, and your specific OS ( win98, se, me, xl etc), then from control panels device mgr, select your card, properties, driver, update, and point the location to the folder where you downloaded it (browse to it), see if that works for you.
ok, bilo, the last 2 posts were made while I was preparing mine above, glad you got it whipped.
