Have you ever done something you wished you could undo? Unlike real life, Windows allows you to undo an action you did not intend.
If you deleted a block of highlighted text when you meant to copy it, don't despair. Simply press the Control Key and Z simultaneously. Suddenly, the text you accidentally deleted is restored.
You can undo lots of actions in Windows with this simple command. Control + Z can be your savior. Use it next time you make a mistake.

Hey all... does anyone know the Windows 2000 equivalent of the 98 MSCONFIG command? SPAMIt was a very useful command in 98, but it must have changed in 2000.

Windows 2000 does not come with the handy MSCONFIG.EXE program that Win 98 has. SPAMHowever, you can copy the file from Win 98's c:\windows\system folder and paste it into Win2k's c:\winnt\system32 folder. SPAMYou can ignore the error messages saying that it cannot find config.sys, autoexec.bat,
win.ini, and system.ini files. SPAMYou'll have access to the programs that execute upon startup though. SPAMYou can also download Startup Control Panel (http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml) program by Mike Lin that operates pretty much like msconfig.exe. SPAMYou could also try X-Setup (http://www.xteq.com/) by Xteq Systems. SPAMThat is also free.

windows key = Pause/Break brings up the system properties....just like right clicking on my computer and then clicking on properties

That's a cool little trick I was never aware of admin. SPAMIt sure beats the hell out of right clicking and scrolling down the list.
