You may have realized that in Windows NT/2000 and various versions of Win9x, you absolutely cannot change the name of the recycle bin. The closest thing you can do is make a shortcut to the recycle bin and name the shortcut something else. That's not quite the same as physically changing the name.
You can get around this restriction by editing the registry. But remember, messing with the registry can really mess up your computer if you do thew wrong thing. Back up your data before attempting any registry hacks.
1. SPAM SPAM Run RegEdit. You'll find it in your Windows folder or go to the Start menu, select Run, and type REGEDIT.EXE.

4. SPAM SPAMSelect "{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E}"
5. SPAM SPAMDouble click on (Default)
6. SPAM SPAMYou'll see the current name of your "Recycle Bin." Simple change it to whatever you want and close the Registry SPAMEditor.
