I am hunting for a wireless microphone that i can attach either on my shirt, or wear as a head set (if need be) so i can begin home automation. I like the idea of talking and letting my computer do all the work. Does anyone have any ideas on a wireless microphone like that?

I cant say i know of anything. But check large catalog companies that cater to large bis. like CDW ( i dont know if they have anyting for you) but its a good place to start looking
hope this helps in some way or another

Have you tried ebay? That's the first place that I go when I need something. It has yet to fail me.

I'M TRULY SHOCKED AT THIS :o . NO MODDING INVOLVED!!!!! :shake:

Go to Radio Shack, and get a tranceiver kit!!! You can make it cheaper than you can buy.

as that is in most cases with the beloved case mod, or simply makin a computer all together, and like building a car from scratch....might be a bit of a challenge, but in the end...its all worth the dedication, as well as the money, and its still cheaper...in most cases

is this what vee_ess was suggesting?

http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F006%5F008%5F010%5F000&product%5Fid=990%2D0259

i think a remote control would be more practical since voice recognition isnt perfect yet like in star trek
