This deal has expired a long time ago. Of course there will be others. Check Staples, Best Buy, Fry's Electronics, Office Max, Office Depot, CompUSA, etc. for deals on cdr media.

It is true that still some companies don't abid to their own rules with rebates. I had only one problem with cdr mirs. About 8 months ago I bought a 200pk cdr at OfficeMax. I sent the Mir and waited till Feb 2002 until I contacted them. In about 2 weeks I received my rebate. Most of the time I receive my rebates on time.

Just remember you get what you pay for. I'll spend a little more to get a better brand of CD-R. I try to steer clear of Hi-Val and Super-Brand or the "great" durabrand. If they can't even come up with a good name how good is the cd's gonna be. I prefer to be able to truse it "should" work. Just my $0.02
