is there anyway to change the little status thingy above the avatar? i dont want to upgrade my status myself, just want to change it to match my avatar.

That is your rank. Notice for various people it will say different things, but generally there's about four or five titles, only. As you post more, your rank will change, to reflect your status. While you can never reach "Administrator" by posting a lot, you can move up through the majority of the other ranks you see.

:lol:, BTW, i think it would ruin the way for keefe to get posters to post, because the ranking system is kind of and encouragement thing to get u to post more, im happy with what we've got, although since TWL has opened, many more positions have gotten associated w/ TWL.

yes i know that is my rank. i was just curious, because on other boards i post on they have just disreguarded the rank status and just let the user change it as they like.

only to some ppl...i take pride in the number of posts that i have...and trust me i have been advised many times of the power that admins and mods have, and i think that the number of posts is no reason to feel threatened by admins and moderators, unless spamming is and issue...Aemon_, PM keefe or something if you are really that concerend about the subject.

by the way, how to you get involved in TWL? i did notice all the staff statuses flying around, and some for people who havent even been a memeber for a month.

If someone is staff and a member less than a month, they're probably either a new staff member (recently applied/accepted) at the main Techware Labs site (as a reviewer, writer, news editor, etc.) or a staff member who had never gotten around to registering at the forums.

BTW, what was that site that lets you have your own status? becuase ive seen some sites as well that does that, didnt like it much...i mean that's what a profile is for right?
