Just read the latest review on toms, looks like 333 beat the 400 hands down, guess they need to seriously refine the 400, dang and I was all ready to get the new dragon 400 board *L* guess I will wait awhile :) I just want somthing compatable with serial ata and agp 8x even though nothing yet needs it, but if 400 cannot even keep up with my 333 there is a prob :) what do you guys think..?

Hm, that kind of sucks. I think I may get the MSI KT4 Ultra just because of the whole slew of new features (AGP 8x, bluetooth, serial ata, firewire).

That is what I was thinking also but I stick with soyo, my girl runs all msi. Soyo puts together one heck of a package and I have had nothing but good experiences with them. I really do like the 8x and the serial ata and the other features.

id go with Asus
best support
and the first to come out with AGP8x + serial ATA
Asus makes great quality boards and stabability is in no doubt
and easy to OC too

I read the same reports on the KT400, I read that the KT400 chipset was not as good as the KT333 and Epox was thinking of not introducing this chipset in thier line at present. They have made the 8K5A3+ with all the goodies most people want, but it is still the KT333 chipset.
Myself I am going with the Epox 8RGA+ NForce2.
This will be released soon.
Has SSP,MCP-T,Serial ATA, DDR400,AGP8X,Dual NIC 1=3Com,2=n/Vidia's own incl in chipset,5.1Dolby sound,GF4MXxxx video, but has AGP slot for any video card you wish.
Voltgage adjustments on v-core,memory,AGP slot.
Every concievable tweaking thing that any enthusiast might want.
So when you guys get your Asus, Abit, MSI, Soyo and others assembled. I envite you to compete with this lowely Epox.
By the way they have become #3 in motherbord sales in the world as of July 2002.
We like thier products very much.

It is made into the NForce chipset. It is not a card to be used in any system. Just to clairify this a little.

Yea, I believe this is gonna be the enthusiast market's prime system.
A lot of people have stated they are patiently waiting for this mobo to be released to the public.
Some say this will be the all time best seller in a computer motherboard. I do know that I want one for my next system.
