i already got it
its got a built in video player too
but i disabled some file associations because i prefer windows media player
also since im using my old P2-300MHz with 192mb of pc133 ram, it took a while to load up each time...
nevertheless, i like the shrinking and expanding feature
but still not much changes from version 2 except some other stupid stuff
Gonna d/l it tomorrow...we'll see if it is worthy of the space it takes up...which im sure it will be!

WinAmp3 doesn't natively use my Logitech iTouch cordless keyboard's hotkeys.... With some registry tweaking, it can be made to, but my system's unstable enough as it is, without me screwing around with it :/

ive been using it since it was released (i think, ive been using it for a few weeks, thought it had been released ages ago)
it uses hardly any memory...
winampa - mem usage 696k
studio - 9740k
total of just over 10mb which isn't much really...

The only gripe I have about Winamp3 is that it doesn't resume playing where it left off. So, if I'm on song 875 on my playlist and I close and re-open Winamp3 (maybe after a reboot), it'll start over at song 1.
Of course, they know it's an issue ... but hell, it worked in Winamp 1.xx and 2.xx, why not in 3?

I dont like it as much as WA2. I typically build my playlist from Explorer and with previous versions, I immediately saw the playlist. With the new one, I actually have to go find the right playlist, click on it to see the list. Bah! I say. And it doesn't seem to be saving the names of my playlists either. Considering I have to get used to using the new Playlist Editor, it oughta work right.
On the plus side, have you seen the FF - Aki skin for WA 3? It is one of the best player skins I've ever seen. Beautiful.

I can't stand WA3.
I tried it, IMO it tries to do too much, while being a resource hog. All I want it a decent mp3 player, and WA2 does that just fine for me.

I prefer wm2 over the3 too, I only need a mp3 player. And,I dont know why, winamp3 crash civ3 on my computer but not winamp 2.

from what ppl are saying, i guess i stand correct
it really isnt worth it if winamp 2 does what u ask for
except the skin feature is nice in some perspectives
when you find a good skin that is
i suggest the Official Rollingstone skin
yup its the tongue...
Star Trek Nemesis is a nice skin too and i think its the first star trek skin for winamp3
