I suppose I'd probably lean more towards the cool stuff like PHP, etc, if I had more skills, and/or money, but for now I'm satisfied with HTML.  There's so much you can do with HTML, and it's quite straight-forward.  That, and I haven't had the time for any other cool stuff .

PHP dosent really require any money(unless you're buying books to learn it). for servers it's a free download, as is MySQL

http://www.php.net

http://www.mysql.com

it requires some skill(also depending on what OS/http daemon you're using). I'd have to say it takes more time then money

Yeah
PHP & MySQL are defidently worth the learning curve though.
Hosting can cost abit though...and I mean GOOD hosting.
The free hosts that support php are pretty dodge.

oh yeah which reminds me...stay away from bluedomino.com hosting. they have safe mode on which disables file writing/creating except in a specified directory which they dont' specify in thier PHP config.
