Default Unwanted hooking to Internet

Can anyone tell me why my Computer connects up to the Internet after I have Disconected it.  Is there anyway to correct this.  LOL Bobbie

Well, what kind of connection do you have?  A dial-up type network, DSL, Cable?  Also, is the connection shared? Is the modem internal or external?
