I hate Canon

So I finally decided to hook up my printer again after I rebuilt my computer and upgraded(seemingly) to windows xp professional. I first hooked up by Canon BJC-5000 to the computer and thought that Win XP would detect it automatically, like most printers, it didn't. I then when to their website and was unable to find a Win XP driver, they only had 95/98/me/2k. I downloaded the win 2k one, just to see if it would give me any luck-no workie. At this point I was starting to get pretty pissed off. I uninstalled and reinstalled many times, many different ways. I finally did some more searching on Google and I found a Canon printer Win XP compatibility chart. For some reason the programmers over at Canon could write Win XP drivers for 37 other printers, but not the BJC-5000/5100. I just want to say, what the f*ck is wrong with you people at Canon?

i never trusted canon again after my multi-function printer/scanner/fax kept breaking down right after the warranty pasts...

these japs seems to be good with timing for the warranty vs expected life time...

I have a Canon G2. It broke in July. They fixed it. It broke in August, they sent it back broken. I've sent it back four times now and it still doesn't work. I'm never buying a Canon product again. Their cameras are built so they have to be replaced every year. Anyone who doesn't want to pay several hundred dollars every year for a new camera should buy another brand.

at school we have two canon optura cameras, and they both suck ass! I am finally going to throw them across our auditorium in hope that it may in some act of god, fix the damn thing! It eats tapes out the butthole, and it might as well eat the butthole too, either way the only camera that i think is woth it to get from canon is the XL1S, but other than that, GET A JVC OR SONY!!!!!!! Hopefully anyone who reads this will realize that the canon corporation or whatever they are should all die for making shitty products for the consumer to buy and have repaired again and again. Thank you for your time and if you get a canon camera after reading this, please do us all a favor and shoot yourself. Thank you!
