Saw this case today in 3 different colors, and man I must say it is the hottest looking case I have seen to date! Cost a bit but wow it is sweet! Would drop my antec anyday for this awsome item. Have to see it in person to understand how good it looks!

Again you would have to see it in person and especially in gloss black, it is insanly cool, there was like 10 people around it and they were sold out! and they were selling it at $199!! *LOL*

I found two cases that look exactly alike.
One is the Kingwin's Pro Aluminum w/3 windows.
The other is Cybertec 420 Watt Pro Aluminum Case w/3Windows and neon lights.
I did not find any price on either.
I like the Alienware style 1030 & 1040 SX better IMO::
I like the one with the big window, rounded colored cables, and neon lights.

yeah AI, i like ur Antec case better than this Kingwin
good point boby
i dunno, the antecs just look like its got some class
and i have seen those Kingwin cases in person
i dont like that big fan hole at the front...
i know its great for cooling and such but i just dont like the look of it
and everything is too sharp
flat and sharp
no dynamics...
well thats my opinion

btw if you like high class aluminum cases
you should check out the coolermaster cases
they are quite nice
VooDooPC use coolermaster cases

Yes they have those there also, very good looking, but when and if you ever see the gloss black you will know what class is all about :)

No idea, but all I can say is gloss black and crome works for me heheh :) and with all those windows and the ultra clean layout it was a winner with me. My antec is just to big anymore, the dang thing 2 1/2 feet high *L* I was looking to go to a mid tower and that and the coolermaster are the nicest I have seen to date, but the glossback with chrome is just awsome!

maybe some pics of the gloss black Kingwin with chrome would be good for comparison

is this what you want though??

Looks like it but no gold, all chrome, and it was piano gloss black all over, was very very cool looking :) And since I will be 100% watercooled by christmas I have no need for the super air flow of my antec and want to go to a smaller case :)

I agree the KoolerMaster cases are nice, but nice is no name for the price.

if u want water cooling
u gotta have room for the radiator
and usualy only the server cases will do with their abundant power supply space
you also some room under the hard drive cage to put ur pump and reservoir

Yo AI, I unlocked my XP 2200+ today by connecting the 5th L3 bridge. I must say the 2200 aint worth a spit for overclocking. I did better leaving it locked and upping my FSB. :(

Ouch, what core voltage are you running..?? I have to run mine at 1.85 to keep it stable. If my board would go upt to 1.9 or 1.95 I could get it into the 1950 or 2000 range :)
eviltechie
10-04-2002, 10:06 PM
then why do u want the Kingwin's mid tower for watercooling
it doesnt have much space for the radiator
accurateimage
10-04-2002, 10:25 PM
Dude who ever said you have to keep the radiator on the inside *LOL* Do some research on the latest watercooling designs for pc's, they are very compact and you do not have to have everything crammed inside the case, besides that I am working on a new design :) Will keep ya posted but for right now I am not giving out even a snatch of info hehehe :D ..??
eviltechie
10-04-2002, 11:46 PM
well it just looks better when its inside
especialy you dont want to ruin the look of that beautiful (ur definition) Kingwin case
accurateimage
10-05-2002, 01:16 AM
yeah in some cases yeah it looks better on the inside, but they usually perform allot better with exterior radiator designs.

10-05-2002, 02:45 AM
i really dont get it...
whats the point of having a nice black case having a radiator on top of it
wont that destroy its look of elegance?
unless u want to start cutting??
accurateimage
10-05-2002, 02:53 AM
man you did not take any kind of shop classes in high schoolor college did ya  , and I take it that you have not really designed or fabricated anything other the cable layout in your pc :):) Dude custom work is always the way to go! and yes if you throw a radiator on top of a case of course it will look ugly, but if you really make a nice presentation, and really work hard on it you will have a work of art! Like I have always said experimenting and hard work is always the way to go :) I am NOT one of those guys that goes out and wanted everything to be out of the box, or pre-made bolt ons, those are just boring! Man make it yourself and it is always 100x more rewarding :)

your assumption is very inaccurate and insulting to a guy like me
ive been tearing apart radios and electronics since i was 5 years old
my parents and grandparents always had to keep an eye on me
i cant rememeber how many things ive opened...
once i got this gas powered radio control car
chasis was a F1
one of the best
i was 6 yo back then, didnt know much
and i was curious about finding out how it works and so on and 2 days after i got it, i opened it and took everything apart and unable to put it back
thats one regret... :(
now, ive made my own heatsink for my P2 SECC1
ive modded my server's case although i never use the old P133 server...
just a little ideas here and there
im unable to do large scale of modding or custom work because of my limited access to certain tools
(aint got money and place to get them)
and i live in an apartment too...

it is a risky business cutting through a that gloss black finish
perhaps u could show us a simple diagram of ur plan?
accurateimage
10-05-2002, 03:49 PM
Nope sorry man,. my lips are shut on this whole project for it is a all new design and not just a plain water cooling system :) I run a company and it will be one of our future products so that is why my lips are shut tight *LOL* Also the kit will be available for most any case, not just the kingwin, I was just saying that case looked really good :)

10-05-2002, 05:20 PM
oh something like the koolance design??
i also invent and design things
ive thought of a case made of PCB pipes but then went against it because of the static properties...
ive also designed some other stuff which is a secret too because i havent got them patended
i work with a friend to refurbish the designs
accurateimage
10-05-2002, 06:51 PM
Right on, but someone already has a case made of pipe, looked pretty cool :)
yuo beat me to it
was thinking of that one then he mentioned tubing
