Ouch one of the pics of the processor has some nasty bent pins!!! Also tubes onboard is very cool, I am an audiophile and used to be by trade *L* I will have to get my hands on one of those boards and try it, but for now runing a digital output into a tube preamp works killer ;)

i didnt take the pic
the guys in malaysia that went to the AMD press took the pic
and we didnt get to test it
no 1 can except AMD...

so we didnt bend it
just a little accident AMD had

Ok, I gotta ask. Are those REAL vaccum tubes or is that some sort of spoof that I'm completly missing?

Yeah I would be pissed also if one of my tube amps went down, but all tube amps are fixable unless they burn to the ground! And I am not sure how well a tube preamp would work on computer speakers... would make them very warm sounding or hot in the midrange which computer speakers already are... wonder what the actual and not weighted output frequency responce is on them

I think it is kinda retarded to have it onboard... do you know how hot a tube gets..?? *LOL* It puts a lightbulb to shame!
