i could barely get here ok
hers wats happening

my computer is freezing up a lot
whenever i do windows explorer

it take 30 secs to get a window open

then it often freezes up for good when an ad pops up

what can i do to fix it

get adware scan for ad wares first

then go to www.antivirus.com use their free tools to search for viruses

it is probably infested with ad .dll's

It's probably the klez/elkern virus (worm actually). Have dealt with it many times before. goto www.symantec.com and download the fix from their site. It's a good fix and it works.
Bootup into safe mode and make sure that all restore features are disabled and then run it. also make sure any anti-virus apps are disabled...!!
