Have you ever wondered if that expensive goop is better than the cheap white stuff you get when you buy a new CPU or heatsink? Well, Viper's Lair has put together a review that might surprise you...

"I've always found it odd when manufacturers claim a 5C+ improvement over other thermal compounds. In our last roundup back in February, we saw that wasn't the case. The only way I can possibly see that much of an improvement is if it's compared to the worst possible compound out there. This time around, although it isn't a 5C difference between the best and the worst, there is more of a gap."

Check it out here (http://www.viperlair.com/reviews/case_cool/compounds/so_nov02/therm_so.shtml).

i think he still should sit AS3 longer

it takes up to 4 weeks for the performance to achieve its maximum ability

There was a company at Comdex that was posting a very significant performance difference between Arctic Silver 3 and their product (it was like semi liquid based). We picked up some samples of it and I'm pretty intrested to see how it performs.
